Corporate work

Projects delivered as a consultant and tech lead through consultancies, for the end client. The screenshots are from the live sites and show the published result, not mockups.

Work delivered as a consultant for services companies. Screenshots are of public sites and the brands belong to their owners.

Kaufmann

Mercedes-Benz's representative in Chile. Work on the corporate portal: redesign of the passenger-car brand, launch of two new brands and a workshop booking app integrated with SAP and the CRM.

Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars

Chile
Liferay DXP 7.4Redesign

New design for the Mercedes-Benz passenger-car site, from the brand home page to the page for each model. The structure was solved with master pages and Objects, so the marketing team publishes and updates models without development involved.

  • Brand home page and model detail on a shared master page
  • Model catalogue modelled with Objects instead of loose content
  • Pages for the full range, AMG versions included

smart

Chile
Liferay DXP 7.4New sub-site

Creation of the smart brand sub-site with its own per-model sub-sites, plus the commercial flows that go with it: quotes, test-drive booking and contact. It's the group's most extensive build, with a home page over ten thousand pixels tall.

  • Per-model sub-sites: smart #1, #3, #5 and the BRABUS line
  • Brand-specific quote, test-drive and contact forms
  • Electric-mobility and connectivity sections as manageable content

Pesco Trucks

  • Angular quote form deployed as a Client Extension
  • Quotes delivered to the corporate CRM

  • Angular application integrated into the portal via Client Extension
  • Integration with the SAP and CRM APIs for availability and booking
  • Complete booking flow inside the portal session

Sany Chile

Chile
Liferay DXP 7.4.13 U82Greenfield build

  • Branch network and electric equipment line

Liferay 2026.Q1Greenfield build

Brand site on Liferay's 2026.Q1 quarterly release, with a model catalogue, a fleet channel for business customers and a quote tool. Here Object Actions in Groovy and notification templates take on the logic that would previously have needed an OSGi module.

  • Email notification templates managed from the portal
  • Dedicated channel for fleet sales

EV Solutions

Chile
Liferay DXP 7.4.13 U82Migration from WordPress

Foton Trucks

Costa Rica
Liferay DXP 7.4.13 U82Cross-country migration

Bringing the Chilean Foton site to the Costa Rican operation, using the migration to pay down technical debt: the custom portlets were removed and the site now rests on the CMS alone, in line with the platform's best practices.

  • Custom portlets removed in favour of manageable content
  • Catalogue by segment: light, medium, heavy, buses and electric
  • Original Chilean site adapted to the Costa Rican market

Autostar Used Cars

Costa Rica
Liferay DXP 7.4.13 U82Greenfield build

  • Catalogue and stock search manageable by the client

Public sector

Institutional and public-service portals, where accessibility, transparency and traffic volume weigh the most.

Correos de Chile — Virtual Branch v2

Chile
Liferay DXP 7.2 Cloud (PaaS)Second version

Second version of CorreosChile's Virtual Branch, the private area where a person tracks shipments, creates new ones, manages their PO box and accesses the Aliados programme. It was the most extensive project of that stage: nearly two hundred changes across the shipment admission flow, the product manager and the enquiries and complaints form.

  • Shipment admission flow: identification, home collection and payment receipts
  • Product manager v2 with search, filters and mobile version
  • Enquiries and complaints form integrated with tracking and addresses

Avanis

Social network for the Spanish agri-food sector, backed by Santander and built on Liferay Community Edition. The platform is no longer online: the home page comes from the Internet Archive and the community area, which lived behind the login, from screenshots taken at the time.

Liferay CE 7.4Industry social network

Social network for the Spanish agri-food sector, backed by Santander. On Liferay Community Edition something was built that behaves like a social network rather than a portal: over sixty custom OSGi modules with Service Builder handle the feed, profiles, following between members, polls and events. My contribution focused on the second version of the post editor and on platform performance.

  • Post editor v2: BBCode-to-HTML conversion, emojis and drag-and-drop attachments
  • Feed with polls, comments and following between members on Service Builder
  • Market widgets with cereal prices and per-plot weather
  • Google Tag Manager instrumentation on markets, events and subsidies
