Correos de Chile — Virtual Branch v2
Second version of CorreosChile's Virtual Branch, the private area where a person tracks shipments, creates new ones, manages their PO box and accesses the Aliados programme. It was the most extensive project of that stage: nearly two hundred changes across the shipment admission flow, the product manager and the enquiries and complaints form.

The Virtual Branch is CorreosChile's private area: where a person or a company tracks shipments, creates new ones, manages their PO box and accesses the Aliados programme. This is its second version, and it was the most extensive project of that stage.
The bulk of the work went into the shipment admission flow, which is the service's central operation and the hardest to simplify. A shipment requires identifying the sender by Chilean ID or passport, choosing origin and destination among hundreds of branches, deciding whether the parcel is handed in at an office or collected at home, declaring the contents and their weight, checking for dangerous goods, and paying. All of that has to fit on a screen a person can complete unaided, and also allow creating several shipments in a batch.
The second big piece was the product manager, rebuilt from the ground up with its search, filters, create and edit flows, and its mobile version.
The third was the enquiries and complaints form, which isn't a contact form: it integrates with shipment tracking and with the address service so that the complaint reaches the right department with the case already identified, and it flows into the customer-service system.
Everything runs on Liferay DXP Cloud as PaaS, with the platform managed and the team focused on the product.
