Creation of the smart brand sub-site with its own per-model sub-sites, plus the commercial flows that go with it: quotes, test-drive booking and contact. It's the group's most extensive build, with a home page over ten thousand pixels tall.

smart is the urban brand of the Mercedes-Benz group, and in Chile it had no presence of its own inside the Kaufmann portal. This project created it from the ground up: a sub-site with a visual identity distinct from Mercedes-Benz, its own sub-sites per model and the commercial flows that accompany it.
It's the group's most extensive build. The home page is over ten thousand pixels tall and walks through the brand positioning, the range, the electric-mobility proposition and the vehicle's connectivity. Each model (smart #1, #3, #5 and the BRABUS line) has its own sub-site, not a section inside a shared page.
A sub-site in Liferay inherits the parent site's structure but keeps its own content, permissions and navigation. That was the architectural decision: it lets smart have its own voice inside the corporate portal without duplicating infrastructure or leaving the same CMS.
The commercial flows were solved with brand-specific forms for quotes, test-drive booking and contact, backed by Objects for the data model and fragments for the reusable pieces. The editorial sections on electric mobility and connectivity were left as manageable content, so the brand team updates them without going through development.
