Pesco is a brand of truck-mounted equipment: water tankers, tipper bodies and bodywork fitted on Mercedes-Benz or Atego chassis. It didn't exist in the Kaufmann portal and had to be launched digitally from scratch.

The visible part is the brand landing page and the page for each piece of equipment, with its description, gallery, applications and full technical sheet. The part that decides whether the project is useful or not is the other one: the quote form.

That form was built in Angular and deployed as a Client Extension. It's a deliberate decision. A quote form that feeds the CRM is not a contact form: it validates the Chilean tax ID (RUT), distinguishes between individuals and companies, chains the selection of brand, model and version, and has to deliver the data in the format the CRM expects. Solving that with the CMS's own tools would have meant forcing the tool.

Client Extensions are Liferay's modern mechanism for exactly that: the application lives outside the portal core, deploys on its own and updates without touching the platform, yet integrates into the page like any other element. The sales team receives the quote directly in the CRM, with no manual transcription.
